At Twin Rivers Nursery we are lovers of and growers of plants.

We focus on but are not limited to fruit trees. Apple, cherry, plum and pear have been our main focus.

Peter now has 25 years of Agronomy under his belt in Perennial Horticulture. He is based in Tasmania, servicing advice to growers Australia wide.

He started out from a country background.
Totally enthralled to see the spirit of plants grow from a tiny seed placed in the ground at right time of year in the right soil type.

In 1988 Peter chased down a traineeship in horticulture production. Moving on to do an Orchard Apprenticeship.
What awe to see what could be done with tender loving care of plants. How they are such good company and respond, even to your voice. Heehee!
